Higanbara Haru

Higanbara Haru is the main character of uchou project, she is neither an antagonist or a protaganist as her morals are pretty flimsy.

Good friends with Mizune, was one of her first friends after she went to senkyo.

Biography

Early Years

When Haru was younger she would often be picked on for her interests and zany personality, shed often be outspoken about her feelings and didn't have a filter, she spent her time in arcades playing "retro" rhythm games and collected plushies. Haru didn't have a father and has no idea what happened to him as her mother kept it a secret. In the outside world Haru loved collecting "retro" things as she thought they were interesting and cute, since the outside world of Uchou is set partially in the future, retro to her are stuff like fliphones and handheld gaming consoles.

How Haru ended up in Senkyo

One night Haru was outside and decided to browse a small charity store, she found a little orange plush. It looked unsettling, it had a big smile with little teeth and squinted eyes, but Haru thought it looked cute so she picked it up, paid for it and left the store. She decided to take a shortcut through an alleyway to get home as the main roads are really noisy due to everyone using self driving cars. In the alleyway Haru tripped and dropped the plush onto the cold hard floor, she started to tear up a little as her pain tolerance was quite low. Suddenly her little plush started to breathe, at first she thought she hit her head and was seeing things, but no. Before she could get up the creature sprung up at her and started to tear her face open, she tried screaming but no words came out of her mouth. Then everything went black, she couldn't see or hear anything anymore. After 3 hours of being unconcious Haru's mind opened and she saw everything and felt everything she could see into other universes and it all blended in as noise, it was so loud Haru tried to make it stop but she couldnt move she couldnt speak all she could do was lie there and wait. Eventually it stopped, she was frozen. Even after regaining conciousness she could't move for a while as she was still processing everything. It took her hours to be able to ignore the noise in her brain as she couldnt stop seeing into other universes. Haru then got up, covered in blood and tried asking people for help, she was crying at this point and didn't know what was happening, since she was slipping through multiple universes at once no one could see her she was invisible and only her faint shadow could be seen by the general public. People phased through her like she never existed. Haru walked for hours only to end up fainting again. She then woke up on a beach, it was sunny and she could hear a faint voice, a voice of a girl. The girl was Mizune, she found her washed up on the shore of Senkyo.

Abilities

Higanbara Haru uses her link to other universes to freely move through them, she can bring things and other people from other universes too. She has a limit though as constantly switching universes is tiring for Haru as it uses energy. Haru can become invisible to the naked eye if she positions herself between universes, she has mostly forgotten her life before becoming a youkai, and all she really remembers is how people used to pick on her.

Personality

Haru's personality is quite childish, she rarely takes things seriously and usually uses her abilities to play pranks on the people of senkyo, most humans don't like her as shes a bit notorious in the human village for tricking people. Haru likes to drink coffee and likes to sew her own plushies when she gets the time to, she usually slaps people in the face for being a two faced bitch like fuck of kassandara

Notes

• Haru didn't realise she had horns till she looked in the mirror in senkyo, when she found out she was beaming with joy and thought "they look so cuttteee"
• She doesn't know why shes alive or if she even is alive, she knows shes not completely human anymore but she is confsued on why shes allowed a second chance at life, at first she thought senkyo was heaven till Mizune explained to her that shes in senkyo not heaven.
